We made it to church by 8:25 a.m.

Put on our robes

Went to the sanctuary

Had vocal warmups

Practiced the Anthem a couple of times

And church service

Began at 9 am

 

At 10 am the service ended

And we went home

Where I spent a few more hours

Reading the material

Pastor Chris had put together

For our meeting today

For the benefit of potential

Membership

 

I threw out everything I put together

Saturday

For the meeting

And read Chris’s material again

I discovered some great

Things are happening at the church

And made up a different set of questions

 

Made it to the meeting

In the nick of time

5 pm

Split up into groups

To talk amongst ourselves

And left with each of us

Taking a sheet of paper to fill out

For membership

What next?
