The Daily Breath - Thursday, April 7, 2022

Thursday, April 7

Much better outcome at choir practice

In the first place

I was able to say hello to Emma

With more enthusiasm than I had been

mustering

Because I corresponded with her

Via email

And said some nice things regarding the mutual

April 2 birthdays of Carmen

her daughter who turned 9

And Mark, my partner spouse husband

Who turned 65

As well as Emma’s beautiful smile

In the several pictures Mark took

In the children’s area

At church

It was a challenging rehearsal

Still with masks

And hot

We had to get a handle on

All the music upon which

We are about to

Embark

Starting Sunday

Including the much-awaited

Much feared (by me)

Misirere

Which we rehearsed in the balcony

With hand-held lights

We will be singing

Palestrini’s Misirere

In the balcony

On Good Friday

Following Maundy Thursday

Celebrating Easter

In earnest

And song

Two services on this Sunday

And next

Not only that

Mark is the liturgist

This Sunday

Both services?

He doesn’t know yet

Also Emma forthrightly

Addressed Mark about his

Music being performed

May 15, 2022

Thank goodness!
